Lifecycle & Social Proof

Closes the gap: Asset-pack capture, 6-email 9.9 sequence, WhatsApp/Telegram flows, case-study engine, objection bank. Leads must be caught.

Lead Capture: What the Asset Pack Must Ask For

The Friday Sep 4 "9.9 Sourcing Asset Pack" drop is the email faucet. Ask for the minimum that lets you segment and personalize — nothing more. Max 4 fields.

Field Required Why
Email address Yes Delivery + nurture. This is the primary key.
Platform (pick: Shopee / Lazada / TikTok Shop / Offline wholesale / Other) Yes Drives segmentation, case-study matching, and ad audiences.
Country (pick: ID / TH / VN / PH / MY / SG / Other) Yes Sets send-time, language, PDPA consent branch, and factory-belt relevance.
Main category (free text, e.g. "phone cases", "kids apparel") No Powers the Day-5 "your category watch" message and Hot Picks tie-in. Leave optional — forcing it raises drop-off.

Do NOT ask for phone number on the form. Collect WhatsApp/Telegram opt-in separately at the delivery page ("Want this pack + supplier alerts on WhatsApp? tap here") so SMS/WhatsApp consent is clean and provable.

Consent wording (checklist — verify with counsel per PDPA for SG, TH, MY; not legal advice): - [ ] Separate, unchecked opt-in box for marketing email (not bundled with the download). - [ ] Named-purpose statement: what you'll send and how often. - [ ] Withdraw-anytime line + working unsubscribe in every message. - [ ] For SG/TH/MY: confirm whether express consent + "purpose limitation" wording is required for your sending, and whether DNC / do-not-call registry rules apply to any WhatsApp marketing. - [ ] Log timestamp + IP + source (asset-pack form) with each consent record.

Double opt-in rule: after submit, send a confirmation email with one button — "Confirm my spot for the 9.9 pack". Do not deliver the pack file or count the lead as active until clicked. Only confirmed contacts enter the 6-email sequence. This protects deliverability and gives you a clean consent trail.

Incentive exchange line (on the form button and landing copy): "Get the free 9.9 Sourcing Asset Pack — supplier shortlists, price-check templates, and a pre-9.9 stock checklist. No cost until 9.9. Drop your email and confirm, and it's yours in 60 seconds."

9.9 Sprint Email Sequence (6 emails, full copy)

Send time: 11:00 SGT / 10:00 WIB (ICT) for SEA sellers — inbox before lunch browsing. Email 5 (day-of) sends early at 08:00 SGT to catch pre-market sourcing. Deliverability note: warm the sending domain in W1; plain-text-first.

Day Email Goal Subject A / B

Day 2 3. Verification teardown Show the tool's real value "How I'd check this supplier in 60 seconds" / "Is this factory legit? here's how to tell"
Day 3 4. 9.9-eve countdown Push free-window action "9.9 is tomorrow — free access ends 9 Sept" / "One day left to source free"
Day 5 (9/9) 5. What to stock today Same-day conversion, Hot Picks "Stock this today for 9.9 (Hot Picks inside)" / "9.9 is live — here's what moves"
Day 6 6. Results + 11.11 Upsell to pre-heat + feedback "How your 9.9 sourcing went (and what's next)" / "9.9 done — 11.11 starts now"

Email 1 — Instant delivery

Subject: "Your 9.9 Sourcing Asset Pack (download inside)" Preheader: "Supplier shortlists, price-check templates, and the pre-9.9 checklist — free until 9 Sept."

Body: "Hey, thanks for grabbing the 9.9 Sourcing Asset Pack. Here's your download:

[Download the 9.9 Sourcing Asset Pack →]

Three things worth doing in the next five minutes so this actually pays off before 9.9:

  1. Open the site and search one product you're already selling. Type it in, or upload a photo. You'll see matching source suppliers with price, MOQ, and a demand signal.
  2. Save your top two suppliers. Saving is what turns a search into a shortlist you can act on.
  3. Check the pre-9.9 stock checklist in the pack — the 'lead-time' tab is the one most people skip and regret.

I built this because before every mega-sale I was screenshotting 1688 listings into a messy spreadsheet at 1am. The whole point is to compress that into a couple of searches.

Usage is free through 9.9, so use it hard this week. If a search doesn't return something useful, hit reply and tell me the product — I'll find the suppliers and send them back personally.

Talk soon, [Founder name] [Product name] — source faster for 9.9"

CTA: "Download the pack" (button, links to the file). PS: "The pack is only the map. The tool is the search. Try one query today — free until 9 Sept."

Unsubscribe line (Email 1, verbatim): "You're getting this because you asked for the 9.9 Sourcing Asset Pack and confirmed your email. If it's not useful, [unsubscribe here] — one click, no hard feelings."

Plain-text variant for Email 1 (use if spam-folder issues appear): "Subject: Your 9.9 Sourcing Asset Pack

Thanks for grabbing the pack. Download: [LINK]

Do these 3 things before 9.9: 1. Search one product you sell (text or photo) — get suppliers, price, MOQ, demand. 2. Save your top 2 suppliers. 3. Use the lead-time tab in the checklist.

Free through 9.9. Reply with a product name if a search comes up empty and I'll send suppliers back. — [Founder] Unsubscribe: [LINK]"

Email 2 — Day 1, the 3 mistakes before 9.9

Subject: "3 things sellers get wrong before 9.9" Preheader: "The fixes take one search each."

Body: "Most 9.9 losses happen before 9.9 — in the sourcing decisions made this week. Three mistakes I see sellers repeat, and the 60-second fix for each:

  1. Ordering by lowest unit price, ignoring MOQ and lead time. A cheaper unit that can't arrive by 8 Sept is not cheaper. Fix: search the product, sort by supplier, and read the lead-time and MOQ columns side by side before you commit.

  2. Sourcing one supplier for the whole sale. One stockout and your 9.9 listing dies mid-campaign. Fix: for every hero product, save two source suppliers so you have a backup at comparable price. Do it now while it's free.

  3. Choosing products by what sold last year, not current demand. 9.9 trends move fast. Fix: run a photo-upload search on 3 competitors' bestsellers and compare the demand signal to your own picks.

The theme: you don't need more effort before 9.9, you need better shortlists. That's the whole job of the tool.

Pick one product you're selling today and do mistake-fix #2 — save a backup supplier. It's the single highest-return two minutes before the sale.

[Search a product now]

— [Founder]

PS: Reply with your main category and I'll send you a supplier shortlist for it before 9.9."

CTA: "Search a product now". PS as above.

Email 3 — Day 2, supplier-verification teardown

Subject: "How I'd check this supplier in 60 seconds" Preheader: "Screenshot any listing and I'll walk through it."

Body: "Before you wire money to a factory belt, you check the supplier. Here's exactly how I'd vet one, step by step, so you can copy it:

Step 1 — Consistency. Does the listed price match the MOQ tier, or is the pretty price only at 5,000 units? Open the tier table first. Step 2 — Time in belt. A supplier listing in a known factory cluster (say, [VERIFY cluster names] for your category) with steady history is safer than a brand-new storefront. Step 3 — Demand proof. Is the item moving, or is it cheap because nobody wants it? Cross-check the demand signal on the product before you trust a low price. Step 4 — Ask the real questions. Lead time to your country, sample policy, and what happens on a defective batch.

Our tool surfaces price, MOQ, and the demand signal in one view so steps 1–3 take a minute instead of an hour.

Here's what I want you to try: go to the site, search a product, click into a supplier, and see how fast you can answer those first three questions.

And if you want a second opinion, screenshot any supplier listing and reply to this email. I'll do the teardown and send it back — no charge, I like these puzzles.

[Open the tool]

— [Founder]

PS: The sellers who send me a screenshot this week get their supplier shortlist prioritized before 9.9."

CTA: "Open the tool". PS as above.

Email 4 — Day 3, 9.9-eve countdown

Subject: "9.9 is tomorrow — free access ends 9 Sept" Preheader: "Source today while it's free."

Body: "Tomorrow is 9.9. Free usage runs through 9 Sept, so today is your last full day to build your supplier shortlists without thinking about cost.

What to do in the next few hours: - Confirm your 2–3 hero products for 9.9 and save a primary + backup source supplier for each. - Check lead time — if it can't arrive in time, don't order it now; source only what you can list fast or drop-ship. - Lock your landed price so you don't accidentally sell below cost once shipping and fees are in.

This isn't a 'buy now' pitch — it's a 'the free window closes' reminder. If you've been meaning to try it, today is the day, and it costs nothing through tomorrow.

If your shortlist is done, great. If you're stuck on which supplier to trust, reply with the product and I'll send you two vetted options tonight.

[Build my shortlist — free until 9.9]

— [Founder]

PS: Paid plans exist for sellers who want ongoing supplier alerts, but nothing changes before 9.9 — you're free through tomorrow."

CTA: "Build my shortlist — free until 9.9".

Email 5 — Day-of (9/9), what to stock today

Subject: "Stock this today for 9.9 (Hot Picks inside)" Preheader: "What's moving right now, by category."

Body: "9.9 is live. If you're still deciding what to top up today, here's the quick path:

Open our Hot Picks for 9.9 — the products and categories showing the strongest demand signal this week across [VERIFY platform mix]. These are the ones where suppliers still have stock and reasonable lead times today.

For each Hot Pick, the tool shows you: matched source suppliers, current landed price, MOQ, and a demand signal so you can tell a real mover from a one-week spike.

Three moves for today: 1. If you're already live, check whether your hero product's demand signal is spiking — if yes, secure a backup supplier now before stock clears. 2. If you're light this 9.9, pick ONE Hot Pick in your category and do a small reorder. Don't chase the whole catalog. 3. Screenshot anything you're unsure about and reply — I'm watching my inbox all day for supplier questions.

Free access is still on today. Use it.

[See Hot Picks for 9.9]

— [Founder]

PS: Sellers who do a 9.9 order off a Hot Pick — reply and tell me how it goes. I read every one."

CTA: "See Hot Picks for 9.9".

Email 6 — Day-after, results + 11.11 pre-heat

Subject: "How your 9.9 sourcing went (and what's next)" Preheader: "One question, and a heads-up on 11.11."

Body: "9.9's over. Whatever the sale looked like for you, the sourcing habits you built this week carry straight into 11.11 — which, for most SEA sellers, is the bigger one.

Two things:

  1. A quick question. Did the tool help you source faster for 9.9? Reply with one line — what worked, what was missing. Real seller feedback is how I decide what to fix next, and I read every reply. If you had a strong result (a supplier that saved you margin, a Hot Pick that moved), I'd love to feature it — with your permission and credit. Just say the word.

  2. 11.11 pre-heat starts now. Best 11.11 sourcing decisions get made in late September, not on the day — lead times eat the sellers who wait. Over the next few weeks I'll send category watchlists and early supplier shortlists so you can lock 11.11 stock while prices and MOQ are favorable.

Nothing to buy today. Just keep your saved shortlists and reply if you want a category watch for 11.11.

[Review my 9.9 shortlists]

Thanks for sourcing with me this week, [Founder]

PS: One-line replies are gold. 'It was useful' or 'X was missing' — either helps."

CTA: "Review my 9.9 shortlists".

WhatsApp + Telegram Onboarding Flows

Only message contacts who separately opted into WhatsApp/Telegram. These are 1:1-style broadcast messages.

Welcome (on opt-in, +5 min): "Hi [First name] — this is [Name] from [Product]. You're on the sourcing list now. Free 9.9 supplier search runs till 9 Sept. Want me to send a supplier shortlist for your category? Just reply with what you sell (e.g. 'phone accessories')."

Day-2 nudge: "Quick one — did you get a chance to try a search for 9.9? Reply 'stuck' and I'll pick suppliers for you personally. Or send a product photo and I'll match it."

Day-5 "your category watch": "Your category watch: [Category]. These source suppliers show the strongest price + demand right now — [link]. Two are backup-safe for 9.9. Want the full list?" (If category unknown, send a general Hot Picks link.)

9.9-eve voice-note script (15s, keep it spoken, not read): "Hey it's [Name]. Just a heads-up — free access ends tomorrow, so if you haven't locked your 9.9 suppliers yet, do it tonight. If you're stuck on which factory to trust, send me a screenshot and I'll tell you straight. Good luck with the sale."

9/9 morning message: "9.9 is live. Hot Picks are updated — if you need to top up a mover today, here's where the stock and lead times still work: [link]. Reply if you want a supplier checked."

Reply-trigger branches: - Says "price" → "Which product? Send the name or a photo and I'll pull current supplier pricing + MOQ now." - Says "which supplier" → "Send me the product and your country — I'll shortlist primary + backup with lead times so you're covered for 9.9." - Goes silent after welcome → do nothing further until the 9.9-eve note; silence is not a yes.

No-response rule: max 4 touches in 10 days (welcome, day-2, day-5 or 9.9-eve, 9/9 morning). After that, stop — move to email only. This caps ban risk and complaint rate.

Broadcast-list hygiene (SEA): - [ ] WhatsApp Business API or a managed tool only — never blast from a personal number, and keep opt-in proof per contact. - [ ] Throttle sends (e.g. ≤50–80/day/warm number, ramp slowly); never send all contacts at once. - [ ] Personalize the first line; template messages must be pre-approved on WABA. - [ ] Honor STOP instantly — remove and confirm, no re-adds. - [ ] Human-hand-off threshold: any reply that isn't a canned flow (a question, a complaint, a screenshot) routes to a person within the hour — do not auto-answer.

Segmentation & 30-Day Nurture After 9.9

Segments: - By platform: Shopee / Lazada / TikTok Shop / Offline wholesale → different content (TikTok = trend velocity; offline = MOQ + bulk pricing). - By country: ID, TH, VN, PH, MY, SG → send-time, language, nearest factory belt. - By category: top free-text categories → category watchlists and Hot Picks. - By engagement score: Hot (opened+clicked last 2 emails) / Warm (opens only) / Cold (3 no-opens) / Unresponsive (2 no-opens + no reply).

Segment W4 (Sep 15–21) November (11.11)
Hot "11.11 sourcing plan" workshop invite + beta early access Full 11.11 supplier shortlist, category watch weekly, upsell to paid alerts
Warm Case-study email + one-tap 11.11 checklist 11.11 countdown sequence
Cold Single re-engagement: "want 11.11 shortlists or should I stop?" Only if they re-open; else suppress
Unresponsive Suppress Suppress — remove from paid match audiences

Re-engagement cadence: Cold contacts get one re-engagement email (Sep 15), one follow-up (Sep 22). Still no open → move to quarterly-only list or sunset. Never both email + WhatsApp to the same cold contact the same week.

Suppression rule (no collisions): one contact receives at most one marketing touch per channel per day, and at most two touches total per day across all channels. Shared suppression list: paid-ads audiences exclude current email recipients for active campaigns; WhatsApp list excludes anyone emailed that same day; anyone who opts out of one channel is flagged for cross-channel review. Keep a single "last-touched" field per contact and check it before any send.

The 5 Case Stories to Collect This Week

Numbers below are realistic placeholder examples — every [VERIFY] must be replaced with actuals you collect and get written permission to use. Do not publish invented figures.

Seller profile Platform Numeric result to capture Story arc Asset format
Phone-accessories seller, Jakarta Shopee "Cut sourcing time from [VERIFY ~6h] to [VERIFY ~30min] before 9.9; found a backup supplier that held margin when primary stocked out" Behind on stock a week before 9.9 → one photo search → saved backup → sold out without a stockout 60s vertical video + quote card
Modest apparel seller, Bangkok Lazada "MOQ negotiated from [VERIFY 500] to [VERIFY 150] for a 9.9 test order" Couldn't afford factory MOQ → found low-MOQ belt supplier via price+MOQ sort → tested safely Written mini case (400w) + screenshot
TikTok Shop beauty reseller, Manila TikTok Shop "3 SKUs from Hot Picks hit [VERIFY top-20] in her category during 9.9" Guessing on trends → used Hot Picks demand signal → 3 winners 90s interview clip + results chart
Offline wholesaler, Ho Chi Minh City Offline wholesale "Landed cost clarity saved [VERIFY ~8–12%] vs old agent quotes" Burned by opaque agent pricing → compared landed price in tool → switched suppliers Written case + before/after price table
Home-goods seller, Singapore Shopee + TikTok "Scaled from [VERIFY 40] to [VERIFY 120] SKUs sourced in one week" Solo seller, no time → batch photo uploads → built supplier shortlists fast LinkedIn-style text post + quote

15-Minute Seller Interview Script

Ask in order; record with permission. 1. "Walk me through what you were trying to do before 9.9." (context) 2. "What was the painful part — where were you stuck?" (problem) 3. "When did you first use [tool] and what did you search?" (the moment) 4. "What did you actually find — suppliers, price, MOQ?" (the mechanic) 5. "What did you decide to do differently?" (action) 6. "Can you give me the numbers? Time saved, cost saved, units, margin — even rough." (THE NUMBERS) 7. "What almost stopped you from doing it?" (honesty, for the objection bank) 8. "If a seller like you is on the fence, what would you tell them?" (quote gold) 9. "Would you be comfortable if I used your name / shop / these numbers, with your approval on the exact wording?" (permission) 10. "Is there anything you'd NOT want published?" (guardrail)

How to ask for numbers: offer ranges and units — "was it closer to an hour or a day saved?" Sellers give honest estimates when you give them anchors, then you mark the figure [VERIFY] until confirmed against a screenshot or order.

Permission & Credit Release Ask

Casual DM version: "Hey [name], would you be up for me sharing how you used [tool] for 9.9 — with your shop name and a couple of your numbers? I'd send you the exact wording before anything goes out, you can change or kill any part, and if you ever want it taken down you just message me and it's gone that day. Cool?"

Formal email version: Subject: "Permission to feature your 9.9 sourcing story" "Hi [name], thank you again for the call. I'd like to feature your experience as a case study. Here's exactly what I'd do with it: (1) publish the story and the numbers we agreed — [list figures] — on our site, in emails, and possibly as an ad creative; (2) credit you as [full name / first name + shop / anonymized — you choose]; (3) send you the final draft for approval before it goes live — nothing publishes without your okay. You can revoke permission at any time: one email and we'll remove it from our pages within 2 business days and stop using it in new materials (please note past broadcasts can't be unsent). If you'd like a courtesy for your time, we can offer [credit / early access / a small gift card — state honestly]. Can I count you in?"

Proof Placement Map

Trust Signals We Can Honestly Show on Day 1

Checklist of non-fabricated proof to ship this week: - [ ] Real tool screenshots (search results, MOQ/price columns, demand signal). - [ ] Measured median response time to a supplier question ("we answer in ~[VERIFY] minutes/hours"). - [ ] Count of indexed supplier sources / marketplaces covered ("searches across [VERIFY: 1688 + N factory-belt sources]"). - [ ] Named factory belts you actually cover (e.g. [VERIFY per category]). - [ ] A live search demo (recorded or interactive) — search anything, watch it return real suppliers. - [ ] Published supplier-verification policy + refund/guarantee terms. - [ ] Founder is a real, reachable human (photo, reply-to email that a person reads).

Explicit rule: no fake testimonials, no stock photos posing as sellers, no inflated user counts. Every published number is either measured from our own data or a [VERIFY] figure a seller confirmed in writing.

Objection Handling Bank

Objection Answer (seller voice, 2–3 sentences) Asset to attach
"I already use 1688 directly" "1688 has the suppliers — the pain is finding the right one, comparing MOQ, and knowing if it'll move. This does the shortlist and demand-check in seconds so you go to 1688 already knowing who to contact." Live search demo GIF
"Is this a scam?" "Fair. Don't take my word — search a product now, it's free until 9.9, and you'll see the actual suppliers and prices. We also show you how to verify any factory before you pay." Verification teardown (Email 3)
"Too expensive" "It's free through 9.9, so try it before it costs you anything. When paid plans come, they're priced against the margin a bad 9.9 order already costs you." Free-window reminder
"MOQ too high for me" "That's exactly the filter it's built around — sort by MOQ to find belts that take small test orders. One seller got 500→[VERIFY 150]. Start small, test, then scale." Apparel MOQ mini-case
"Shipping takes too long" "Lead time is a column you can read before you order, so you don't buy something that can't arrive for 9.9. It flags the risk up front instead of after you've paid." Pre-9.9 lead-time checklist
"My supplier already handles this" "Keep them — this is about having a backup and a price check so you're never hostage to one stockout or one quote. Trust but verify." Backup-supplier email (Email 2)
"Why not just Google it" "Google gives you articles; this gives you live suppliers with price, MOQ, and demand for your specific product — a photo upload returns matches, not blog posts." Photo-upload demo
"It's English-only, I'm confused" "Search works from a photo, so you don't need much English — upload and read the price/MOQ columns. We're expanding localized views by country." Onboarding + Hot Picks link
"Data privacy worries" "We ask for the minimum — email, platform, country — and you can confirm/opt-out anytime. We don't sell your data; consent is logged and revocable." Consent/PDPA note
"Will you steal my product idea" "Your searches are yours — we don't resell product ideas, and sellers use us precisely because finding suppliers is anonymous. You only reveal what you want when you contact a supplier." Terms/privacy one-pager
"Language barrier with factories" "You get the supplier's details and terms in one view; the shortlist means fewer, clearer conversations. Reply with a product and I'll help frame the ask." Supplier-question template
"I'm too small for this" "Small is the reason it helps — you can't afford a bad 500-unit order, so the low-MOQ, verify-first approach is built for exactly you. Free until 9.9, no risk to test." Low-MOQ mini-case

First-Search Onboarding (product side, this week)

Goal: get a new signup to save one real search within 5 minutes — activation = first saved search.

The 5 steps: 1. Land → tap "Search your first product" (no account wall before the first result; prompt save after). 2. Type a product name or upload a photo → results appear with price, MOQ, demand signal. 3. Click any supplier → see the verification columns (tiered price, lead time, belt). 4. "Save this supplier" → primary + backup pairing encouraged. 5. First saved search done → show the case-study ask + Hot Picks.

Empty-state copy (before first search): "Nothing here yet — because you haven't searched. Type a product you sell, or drop in a photo of it, and we'll pull matching source suppliers with price, MOQ, and demand. Free until 9.9. Start with one product."

"No results" fallback copy: "We couldn't match that one — some products are niche or the photo's unclear. Try a clearer photo or a simpler keyword, or hit 'Request this product.' Tell us what you sell and a real person will send you suppliers within the hour. Your request also tells us what to index next."

In-app case-study ask (fires after first saved search): "Nice — first shortlist saved. Did this beat how you usually find suppliers? One line on what you'd have done without it? (If it saved you real time, we'd love to feature you — with your approval, and you can pull it anytime.)"

Human-touch trigger: if a user runs 3 searches without saving a single supplier, a person messages them (in-app + WhatsApp/email if opted in): "Hi [name] — saw you searched a few times but didn't save anything. Was a supplier off, or didn't the results fit? Tell me the product and I'll send you two vetted options personally."

Weekly Lifecycle Review

Every Monday, 20 minutes, per sequence.

Metric Target If low, the copy line to fix
Delivery rate ≥98% Double opt-in / list hygiene, not copy — clean bounces
Open rate ≥40% Subject line (test A/B winners carry forward)
Click rate ≥5% CTA wording + single-goal clarity
Reply rate ≥2% PS line + the specific ask ("reply with your category")
Opt-out rate ≤0.5% Value-vs-frequency; too many sends or wrong segment
First-search activation ≥30% of openers Email 1's "3 things" + onboarding step 1–2
7-day retention (site) ≥25% Email 3–4 value proof + category watch

Copy-fix loop: open low → subject is wrong, not body. Click low → CTA or offer unclear. Reply low → the PS/ask is too vague. Opt-out up → cadence or relevance wrong, not a single line. Delivery low → list, not copy. Fix one variable per email per week; the winner becomes control.
