Lock supplier stock and confirm the MOQ now — you can absorb a price cut of about 62% before this SKU stops paying. Keep sourcing below RM 31.70 if you renegotiate.

Buying above your forecast
How each number is calculated
1. Effective price
effective_price = listed_price × (1 − discount%)
2. Fees charged on the price (proportional)
platform_fee = effective_price × platform% payment_fee = effective_price × payment% voucher_cost = effective_price × voucher% refundable_pct = platform% + payment% (these scale with the price)
3. Costs that stay fixed whatever the price
sunk_per_unit = sourcing_cost + shipping + packaging + ad_spend
4. Profit per unit, before and after returns
profit_before_returns = effective_price − sunk_per_unit − platform_fee − payment_fee − voucher_cost profit_after_returns = (1 − return%) × (effective_price − platform_fee − payment_fee) − sunk_per_unit − voucher_cost
The revenue and the percentage fees both shrink by the return rate, because a refunded order pays you nothing and the platform commission is reversed. Your sourcing, shipping-out, packaging, ad spend and seller-funded voucher are still spent, so they are charged in full.
5. Margin and ad ROI
net_margin% = profit_after_returns ÷ effective_price × 100 roi_on_ads = profit_after_returns ÷ ad_spend (shown as a multiple and a %)
6. Break-even selling price
Because commission and payment fees are percentages of the price, profit is a linear function of the price — so break-even has a closed-form solution. Writing d = discount, r = return rate, f = platform% + payment%, v = voucher%, and K = sourcing + shipping + packaging + ads:
profit(P) = (1 − r) × P(1 − d)(1 − f) − v × P(1 − d) − K Set profit(P) = 0 and factor out P(1 − d): P(1 − d) [ (1 − r)(1 − f) − v ] = K break_even_price = K ÷ ( (1 − d) × [ (1 − r)(1 − f) − v ] )
If the bracket is zero or negative, no price can make money — the discount, voucher and return losses absorb the whole sale, so the tool reports "not reachable".
7. Max sourcing cost at your current price
max_sourcing = effective_price × [ (1 − r)(1 − f) − v ] − (shipping + packaging + ads)
Use this as your negotiation floor: any supplier quote above it puts the SKU into a loss at the price you listed.
8. Cash and stock
minimum_order_spend = sourcing_cost × MOQ capital_tied_up = sourcing_cost × max(MOQ, projected_units) total_profit = profit_after_returns × projected_units
Assumptions worth checking
- One unit per order. Bundles and multi-buy change the ad, shipping and packaging maths per order.
- Returned goods are treated as unsaleable — if yours are restockable, your real profit is higher.
- Platform commission is reversed on refunds. Where your marketplace keeps part of it, raise the commission figure.
- No GST/VAT/sales tax, no import duty, no cross-border levy, no withdrawal fee. Add them to shipping or packaging if you want them inside the maths.
Read this before you commit cash
- Commission, payment, voucher and logistics rates differ by market, category, seller tier and campaign, and change without notice. Confirm the live numbers in your Seller Centre before you use them here.
- This tool estimates. It does not guarantee profit, a campaign slot, a ranking, or that your forecast units will sell.
- Returns, COD refusal, lost parcels and supplier delays are modelled as an average rate — a bad week can erase the margin shown.
- Nothing here is financial or tax advice.
